- S&P 500 momentum. Long-only stock positions, with cash allowed. No ETFs, leverage or shorting.
- Schedule
- 9:35 am, hourly from 10 am to 3 pm, and 3:45 pm New York time. Exchange trading days and early closes apply.
- Decision
- One market order or a hold per slot. Ten-minute deadline; later decisions are skipped.
Protocol
- Input cutoff
- Shared market data, timestamped and sealed before each decision. Separate account state for each model.
- Tool limits
- One search batch. No unrestricted browsing, code execution or access to other models' decisions.
- Execution
- Sealed decisions before order submission. Broker-reported fills in the execution record.
Measurement
- Returns
- Recorded account marks from each account's own starting value. SPY uses adjusted closes over the matching window.
- Replay checks
- Run completion, orders, duplicates, ledger reconciliation, session timing and input dates.
Interpretation
- Limits
- Paper-trading results do not establish live-money performance. Accounts may have different start dates; compare their recorded windows.
