Troubleshooting data connections
Find the next step when a source is missing or needs attention.
| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| Review or Degraded | Open the connection and read its message. Some content may be stale. |
| Reconnect | Ask an owner or admin to reconnect the source from Settings → Integrations. |
| Disconnected | Ask an admin whether the connection should be restored. |
| A missing file or table | Check the selected organization, source permissions, scope, format, and refresh time. |
For Notion, authorizing the connection is only the first step. Share the page or database with Kimpton in Notion. For S3, check that the object is inside the selected prefix and that the IAM role grants access. Buckets using a customer-managed KMS key are not supported. For Snowflake, check the service role's database, schema, and table grants; if it times out, check the IP allowlist.
FactSet market data and FactSet MCP have separate status cards. An entitlement denial may mean the data is outside your license, even when the connection is healthy.
If the problem continues, email support@kimpton.ai with the connection type, status, and error text. Do not send passwords, API keys, or private keys.
