Connect OneDrive and SharePoint
Give Kimpton access to selected OneDrive and SharePoint files.
An organization owner or admin on a paid plan can connect OneDrive and SharePoint. Use an account that can reach the files your team needs. A Microsoft 365 administrator may need to approve the app. SharePoint libraries are available if the authorizing account can access them.
Connect and check it
- Open Settings → Integrations → + Connection or Vault → Data Catalog → Add connection.
- Choose OneDrive and SharePoint. Sign in with Microsoft and review the permissions.
- Wait for the connection to show Healthy.
- In Vault → Data Catalog, select a file you expect to use. Confirm that it opens before referencing it in New Agent.
The file picker uses your own Microsoft account, so you can select only files you can access there. The organization connection does not grant you access to other people's private files.
Kimpton does not receive your Microsoft password. An admin can remove the connection in Kimpton, and the authorizing account can revoke access at the provider.
If a file is missing
Check the selected organization, the authorizing account's access, and the file format. Supported documents include PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, text, and CSV; images are not indexed. Allow time for a refresh. If the card says Reconnect, ask an admin to sign in again. See Connection troubleshooting.
